Oreo and Chef Dominique Ansel team up with a delicious Oreo spread

The chef that brought the Cronut to the world has created another delicious innovation: Oreo spread.

Chef Dominique Ansel partnered up with Oreo to promote the #MyOreoCreation #Contest. From now until July 14, Oreo lovers can use those hashtags on Twitter and Instagram to reveal their own Oreo creation. The winner will receive $500,000 and the chance to see their flavor on shelves.

Before coming to the United States from France, Ansel never tasted an Oreo. Once he did, though (with milk of course), it inspired his famous Cookie Shot. And now, the company asked him what his new Oreo product would be -- and it's just as creative as his other desserts.

Ansel spoke to AOL.com about all the different ways Oreo fans can enjoy the spread: on toast, fruit, over ice cream, in a hot chocolate, or on Oreos themselves! (Our first thought was directly on a spoon.)

Those in New York City can head to Dominique Ansel Bakery in SoHo on June 10 and 11 to sample Ansel's Oreo spread for themselves -- and pick up a free jar while supplies lasts. If you're not available to check it out for yourself, you can still tell Oreo what you want to see on shelves.
