Bad Larry's Cold Hard Coffee is a cold brew addict's dream come true

It's cold brew season -- which also means it's outdoor drinking season. For those who love both coffee and booze, it may be difficult to choose one over the other ... until now, that is.

The first ever cold hard coffee, Bad Larry's, is now on shelves.

"The demand for cold brew coffee has completely taken off," Matt McGinn, Bad Larry's formulation consultant and founder of Blackeye Roasting Co., said in an emailed statement.

"And we're the first to craft an alcoholic version. Bad Larry's is nothing like coffee-flavored beers or cocktails –- this is totally innovative and different."

AOL.com editors had the chance to sample Bad Larry's, and it's #confirmed innovative. If we had to compare it to anything, it's like a cold brew version of Mike's Hard Lemonade (ergo, we really enjoyed it). If you're not into black cold brew, almond milk added a touch of creaminess and sweetness.

Unfortunately, Bad Larry's is only distributed in some areas for now: Bernick's throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin and Total Wine in Arizona and Florida. Due to popular demand, though, they have their eye on national distribution soon.

For now, if Bad Larry's isn't in your area, you can check them out on Instagram.
