CFDA Awards 2017: Dresses of all colors radiated from the red carpet

Updated

Orange and pinks and reds, oh my!

The annual Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Awards took place Monday night in New York City, honoring the most talented names in fashion. The event, which was hosted by Seth Meyers, was a celebrity-packed event -- many walked the red carpet with their designer go-tos on their arms.

They strutted their fiercest and brightest looks before heading into Hammerstein ballroom, showing us how it's done.

From red to hot pink to orange, bright colors dominated at this year's CFDA Awards.

Scroll through to see our favorite looks:

Bella Hadid, dressed by Off-White, stole the show in a fuschia pantsuit dress and sleek bob. Amber Valletta and Olivia Palermo rocked similar hues, proving to us that color *is* the trend of the season.
