Now that it's finally springtime, New Yorkers are eager to come out of hibernation to feel the sun on their vitamin D deprived skin and, more importantly, to triumphantly return to eating food outdoors rather than in bed.

Here to satisfy both of those needs is the much-anticipated return of Mad. Sq. Eats, a bi-annual food market that brings the diverse flavors of the city's best restaurants to Worth Square, a prime location in the heart of New York's Flatiron District.

Beginning on May 13, Mad. Sq. Eats and its slew of gourmet vendors will set up shop adjacent to the beautiful Madison Square Park.

In partnership with the Madison Square Park Conservancy, Urbanspace has put together a killer list of participating restaurants for the spring 2017 season, including veterans like Roberta's Pizza, Melt Bakery and Vendy Award winner Mr Bing, along with newcomers Make Sandwich, Coney Shack and kBBQ by Korilla.

The pop-up culinary market will continue to serve ravenous New Yorkers seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. until it closes for the season on June 9.

Obviously, this is an event you won't want to miss -- but don't let us convince you of that, let the beautiful food speak for itself.
