The 'saddest dog in the world' Lana is totally changed by her forever home
Last week, the world came together to find 3-year-old Lana a new home.
The Labrador mix was deemed the "saddest dog in the world" when her first owners returned her to the shelter -- a photo of her initial return broke hearts around the globe. She was soon adopted by another family, only to be returned again.

Lana's story went viral as applications flooded in to adopt her, even crashing the shelter's website. But, the shelter was cautious about her new adopters-- no one wanted to find her forever family more than Rescue Dog Match.
Rumors swirled that the pup would be euthanized if she wasn't adopted quickly enough, but the shelter reassured everyone that was not the case.
A few days later, the shelter was pleased to announce that they had found the perfect family for Lana. Photos soon emerged of Lana enjoying her new home -- her transformation is apparent!
