MTV Movie and TV Awards 2017: Best of beauty

Last week we had the Met Gala, the "Oscars of Fashion" -- and this week, all of our favorite stars flew back to the West Coast for another talent-filled event. Enter the 2017 MTV Movie and TV Awards, a night of comedy, music and a lot of Adam Devine.

For the first time ever, the award show honored work in both cinema and television. Needless to say, the red carpet was filled with stars whose work spanned across these different mediums.

Host Adam Devine opened the show with a hilarious "Beauty and the Beast" monologue, complete with a star-studded performance. But Emma Watson, who played Belle in the most recent Disney adaption, who proved she is a princess both on and off the screen.

Graceful as ever, Watson was honored with the first ever gender-neutral award for acting. The actress' poignant acceptance speech was a highlight of this year's show.

Other noteworthy favorites included Allison Williams, Tracee Ellis Ross and Hailee Steinfeld -- their stunning and poised red carpet looks had everyone talking.
