Lonzo Ball's new shoes are causing an outrage on Twitter

Lonzo Ball is riling crowds for a reason other than his dribbling skills.

The 19-year-old prodigy from UCLA is expected to be one of the top picks in the 2017 NBA draft, but he just took his talents to the fashion world. Lonzo teamed up with his dad LaVar Ball's Big Baller Brand, releasing their co-designed ZO2 shoes.

The ZO2 shoe, which sells at $495.00, was designed by Lonzo "at every stage." According to the Big Baller website, the "lightweight" shoe is made with Ortholight insoles and shock absorbent beds.

Needless to say, the shoe has caused quite the uproar on Twitter, with the internet criticizing the price and design of Lonzo's shoe.

Other players, like Shaq, took to social media to express their concerns. He was not on board.

Big Baller is also selling a limited edition ZO2 Wet version of the shoes for a pretty $995.00, autographed by Lonzo. "This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to own a piece of basketball history," the website says.

While Ball is a top prospect for the draft, companies like Adidas and Nike have seemingly refused to sign "endorsement deals" with the teen. Though LaVar has said they aren't interested in endorsement deals, but a "co-branding" partner, he has predicted that Lonzo, along with his other sons LiAngelo and LaMelo, are worth a billion dollar package.
