Is LA the new dessert capital of the US?

Is LA becoming the new dessert capital of America? New York's Dessert Goals festival is hitting the west coast on June 17.

Since it's LA, after all, of course, they'll also have acai bowls. Tickets are $15 and include over 30 vendors. All desserts average $5 a piece. There will be unlimited candy from Dylan's Candy Bar and a savory salt bar to cleanse the palate.
