Kate Middleton rocks casual stripes for Heads Together event ahead of London Marathon

Kate Middleton continued her nautical trend when it comes to her casual work wardrobe, switching out her favorite navy and white striped Me + Em Breton top for, well, another striped top. But this time, it included a pop of red.

Paired with blue skinny jeans and her white Superga sneakers, the look was still pretty nautical, and definitely on trend with Kate's go-to look.

Today, the Duchess of Cambridge hosted runners from the Heads Together marathon team at Kensington Palace to wish them luck in their final preparations for Sunday's Marathon. The event was also to unveil a fun initiative that's been cropping up across London -- where landmarks are "wearing" Heads Together headbands to support the fact that this year's event is the Mental Health Marathon.

Kate's new striped top is the Muvi Pullover by Luisa Spagnoli, the Italian designer we've seen her wear a few times. The color combination that Kate wore today isn't available anymore, but the sweater, which retails for $280, is still available in navy and yellow.

While Kate's top is a little pricey and (of course) sold out, we love this as a similar option. And if you just want to rock some red, white and blue stripes this summer, Nordstrom has a ton of great picks.
