Kate Middleton has reportedly worn $70,000 worth of clothes this year -- so far

Kate Middleton is known for her fabulous outfits -- but looking that polished apparently comes with a price (and it's a steep one).

According to popular blog "What Would Kate Do," if Kate is indeed dishing out money for these ensembles and not borrowing them, it's estimated that she's already spent 57,000 pounds -- or $70,000 on clothing this year. That's only from January to March. It's estimated that she spent over $200,000 on clothes last year, so this year's total so far is considered rather high. Some of the steeper price tags from last year include $10,000 for an Alexander McQueen gown and $6,000 for a Jenny Packham dress.

The blog did not count items that Middleton had already been seen in at past engagements, and again, no word on whether she's actually buying or borrowing these items.
