Woman issues expert clap back at troll who said she'd look better with lighter skin

A college student has received an outpouring of love and support from the Twitter community after a troll tried to shame her for the darkness of her skin.

Mimi Mbah, a 19-year-old student from Gaithersburg, Maryland, was recently featured on a Twitter account that is "is dedicated to all the beautiful Africans world wide," according to WTTG.

Although an overwhelming majority of responses to the tweet praised Mbah for her natural beauty, she was caught off guard by one man's response to her photos, who said she'd be hotter "it (sic) she was lighter."

But instead of giving in to the nasty remarks, Mbah responded politely and positively.

"No thanks I wouldn't trade my skin color for the world !" wrote the aspiring model.

Since Mbah shut down the troll, her expert clap back has received over 22,000 retweets and and nearly 60,000 likes.

And although it seems she already knew it, people on Twitter are making sure Mbah knows her skin -- and everything else about her -- is beautiful the way it is.
