Flying from the US to Europe will be cheaper this summer

Are you on a budget when planning this year's summer travel? Pack your bags for Europe! Flights from the U.S. to the old country will be very cheap this summer.

According to data from travel search engine Kayak, tickets from the U.S. to major European cities will be cheaper this summer than last year, up to 42% cheaper so get the credit card out.

Cities such as Paris, Rome, Barcelona, Madrid and Prague saw a 20% to 30% drop in price for airfare compared to 2016.

If Zurich is on your mind, go for it! Tickets dropped the most for that destination with a 42% drop in prices since last summer.

Kayak's data is based on travel dates between April 1st and September 4thfor travelers searching for flights from the U.S.

The cheapest month to travel is May so there's no more excuse not to finally book that European adventure!
