Starbucks releases Organic Avocado Spread -- and the internet can't make up its mind about it

Avocado toast is everywhere, so it was only a matter of time before Starbucks hopped on the bandwagon. The coffee chain released its new Organic Avocado Spread, along with more new food options (uhm hello, Peanut Butter Cup Cookie!), on Tuesday -- and the internet has mixed feelings about it.

The new menu item -- which had supposedly been a part of the "secret menu" until now -- is "made with fresh, organic Hass avocados, sea salt, onion, garlic, jalapeño pepper and lime juice." Check it out below:

On the one hand, people can't get enough of it, calling it "delicious" and "amazing." On the flip side, diners are calling it "way too green," and one Twitter user even deemed it the "grossest spread."

You can't please everybody, right?
