3 new Monopoly pieces announced to replace beloved retired ones

Now that you're done panicking about the extinction of Monopoly's thimble, it's time to introduce the replacements.

After three weeks of voting, Hasbro has announced the three new pieces that will take its place, along with the outgoing wheelbarrow and the boot.

First up is a T-Rex -- because while thimbles are totally outdated, apparently dinosaurs are just retro.

The second is a penguin -- which joins other Monopoly animals like the Scottie dog and the cat.

And last but not least is the new rubber ducky token.

According to People, more than 4.3 million people voted from all over the world in Monopoly Token Madness.
