All of the foods you love are probably going to kill you, but under-eating healthy foods could put you in the same spot.

A high risk of death from strokes, heart disease and diabetes

That's according to new research published in the Journal of the American Medical Association.

Processed meats like bacon, bologna, hot dogs, salty foods, red meat and sugary drinks made the bad list.

Foods most of us don't get enough of that made the good list are nuts and seeds, salmon, sardines, fruits and veggies and whole grains.

Researchers said too much salt was the problem for most people.

They came up with the results after looking at U.S. government data from 2012 of over 700,000 deaths from heart disease, strokes and diabetes.

They also studied surveys that asked people what they ate.

The lead author from Tufts University says this study is different because it dives deeper into specific foods and their risks or benefits.

To spell it out, the study's recommended amounts of what we should be eating kind of stinks.

No bacon and no processed meat of any kind. No sugary drinks either! Instead, learn to like fruits and nuts.

I know the phrase is soup to nuts, but I'm sure soup is too salty in this case.
