Kate Middleton dons bold blue hat -- and we're not completely sure we're on board

Let's get one thing straight: We love Duchess Kate Middleton -- and if we could be her style twin all day, every day, we would be in a heartbeat. However, that doesn't mean we're going to love every.single.thing. she wears. Gasp, we know.

So, about that navy blue hat she donned at the unveiling of the Iraq and Afghanistan Memorial in London on Thursday. To put it simply, it's just not our favorite that the mom of two has ever sported. Maybe it's the hairstyle that she wore with it, or maybe we're just not super on board with the wide brimmed look.

The royal paired the ambitious headwear with her go-to twill Michael Kors coat (and for the record, we're all for her outfit recycling ways). And while we may be undecided about the hat, allow us to obsess over Kate's blue pumps and breathtaking sapphire jewelry.
