The Princess Diana fashion exhibit opens at Kensington Palace, sold out immediately

Princess Diana will forever be known for her compassion and grace, her work around the globe and -- due to her time in the glittering spotlight -- her incredible style. She's a fashion icon who was truly beloved, and for that, she is being honored at Kensington Palace this year.

Prince William and Prince Harry are commissioning a statue in their mother's honor to mark 20 years since she passed away, and they're also opening their home to an exhibit to celebrate her style. The "Diana: Her Fashion Story" exhibit is open from February 2017 until 2018.

The exhibit allows you to "trace the evolution of the Princess's style, from the demure, romantic outfits of her first public appearances, to the glamour, elegance and confidence of her later life."

Kensington Palace is reportedly expecting quite an increase in visitors this year, and it's no surprise why. The first weekend the Diana exhibit was open tickets sold out lightning fast, and that trend is not expected to slow. London sees an uptick in tourism during the summer months, so if you're planning to visit then, you might want to get your tickets sooner rather than later!

Entrance to the exhibit is included in Kensington Palace admission tickets -- which are £19.00 for adults -- but only £17.10 online.
