Woman's before and after 'weight loss' photo goes viral for an incredible reason
Nearly 25,000 people tune into her posts, where she discusses fitness tips, lifestyle advice and how she manages the household with four little boys.
Despite her hectic lifestyle, she's lost 60 pounds with the help of yoga, smart eating and weightlifting. Even so, she's struggled to keep the weight off. Recently, she posted a photo to Instagram to document her progress.
The photos look drastically different -- you can see how her body has changed just by the way she's standing. Even though she seems slimmer and more muscular, Adrienne has only lost two pounds. "Body recomposition. Lost fat gained muscle!" she said.
"This was all hard work in the gym lifting heavy weights and intermittent fasting.
And for anyone just seeing this for the first time YESSS really 2 lbs, the scale doesn't measure fat vs muscle! Keep going girls 🙌🏼 ," Adrienne explained to her followers.
She explained more on her blog: "Back story, i lost 60 pounds then I quit dieting (always gaining and losing weight and yo-yo dieting and I was so over it.) I started heavy lifting and feel in love. I re-compositioned my body with out dieting. I lifted heavy 4x a week and I intermittent fasting. Within a year or so if that I was down 3 dress sizes and the scale still hadn't moved."
Adrienne's inspiring post just goes to show that weight isn't about the numbers, but so much more.
