NYFW: Ralph Lauren transforms Madison Avenue store for 'see-now-buy-now' Spring 2017 show

Ralph Lauren didn't unveil his ready-to-wear spring collection on a traditional runway at New York Fashion Week Thursday. Instead, he took over his Madison Avenue flagship store and transformed it into an "oasis" with a "botanical installation" covering every wall of the first and second floors. Celebrities like Emmy Rossum, Jessica Biel and Camilla Belle stepped out for the "rustic" affair.

The collection as a whole can best be described as neutral perfection with pops of jewel tones. While Kendall Jenner walked down the runway in white pants, a low-cut white blouse and a long beige blazer, Bella Hadid was donning a sateen-like, rust-orange, loose-fitting shirtdress. Lauren essentially took the models from day to night, with pieces ranging from a casual tan drawstring jumpsuit -- that looks just comfortable enough to nap in, but chic enough to wear with heels -- to a show-stopping sateen purple one-shoulder gown with sexy cut-outs.

Like what you see? The best part about it is that unlike many of the collections that debuted at NYFW, Lauren's is a "see-now-buy-now" spring collection -- and the pieces are available to shop right now.

As Lauren puts it, "I have always wanted a woman to fall in love with my collection and say 'I can't wait to wear it' and now she doesn't have to."
