NYFW: Proenza Schouler has final New York runway show

Proenza Schouler delighted guests with its wide-ranging Fall 2017 runway show Monday -- but with the enjoyment of elegant edge (hello, black and pink leather wrap dresses and asymmetrical color-blocking) came the sad realization that the fashion house's Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez would be debuting their future collections in Paris after this final New York show.

And boy did they go out with a bang, hoping to represent the feeling of "anti-ease" that abounds in the Big Apple, according to WWD.

Leather, metallics, statement cut-outs, wool overcoats shined brightest -- and their logo featured prominently on wildly long zippers seemed especially appropriate as they bid adieu to a familiar crowd (for now, we hope).
