NYFW: Nothing is off limits for Jason Wu with his Fall 2017 collection

We already know that Jason Wu has a massive fan in Michelle Obama. To refresh your memory, after wearing the designer to both of President Obama's Inaugural Balls, the former FLOTUS donned his pieces yet again in 2017 -- not only for her husband's farewell address in early January, but also for Donald Trump's inauguration on January 20.

Well, if Wu's diverse fall 2017 collection is any indication, the designer wants to make a loyal fan out of you, too (if you aren't already one, of course). He didn't send models down the runway in solely unattainable looks that are meant to be admired but not worn. In fact, the very first look is the epitome of a stylish day at the office.

Fast forward to the slitted gold velvet dresses, though, and you'll already have visions of them on the red carpet.

In other words, the man covered all of his bases.
