NYFW: Burgundy velvet steals the show on Erin Fetherston's Fall 2017 runway

Nothing leaves us yearning for fall more than burgundy. Add velvet, and well, we're sold.

Erin Fetherston debuted her Fall 2017 collection at NYFW Thursday -- and big surprise, the burgundy velvet pieces were our absolute favorites. Much like last season, Fetherston accentuated her looks with long neck scarves -- and stayed true to her ethereal style with flowy and fringed (albeit darker) pieces.

In the video above, Fetherston calls the girl who's a "real free spirit" and "romantic at heart" her main inspiration behind the designs.
