Krispy Kreme is stepping up their coffee game

Updated

You may hear the name Krispy Kreme and instantaneously think "doughnuts" -- warm, glazed, delicious doughnuts to be exact.

But Krispy Kreme is adding two products that will redefine the way customers drink their coffee, putting the chain on the (caffeine) map.

Krispy Kreme is introducing two different types of coffee to its stores, both of which pair perfectly well with its notoriously addicting doughnuts. The two new aromatic blends, Smooth and Rich, are made from 100 percent Arabica beans. In just one sip, you can taste its quality, story and flavor.

The beans appeal to all types of coffee lovers. Smooth is for the subtle coffee drinkers, while Rich is for those who desire a more complex and bold cup.

"We have completely reinvented Krispy Kreme coffee from the bean to the cup, ensuring our customers' beverage experience delivers the fresh quality and taste you always get from Krispy Kreme Doughnuts," said Jackie Woodward, Chief Marketing Officer of Krispy Kreme Doughnuts.

The beans, which offer a succinct balance of sweetness, freshness and boldness, are sourced from countries like Sumatra, Colombia, Guatemala and Brazil. Bold also combines the lush flavors from African and Indo-Pacific beans.

If you're interested in trying these new delicious drinks from Krispy Kreme, you might want to do it soon -- you get a free glazed doughnut with your new cup of joe, but only until the end of February!
