Do you know how to cut the most popular vegetables?

We can all agree that the most annoying part of cooking is all the chopping. It takes forever and there's the constant risk of accidentally cutting yourself.

Sousvide Tools recently released graphics to teach people the best way to cut six popular vegetables like a pro.

With garlic, for example, you should first peel away as much of the skin as you can. If the cloves are stuck tightly, use the ball of your hand to press the bulb against the chopping board. This will loosen the cloves.

Then, slice the end of the clove where it was attached to the bulb.

By putting the clove beneath the knife and giving it a good whack, you'll loosen the skin and will be able to proceed to slicing.

Or you could be lazy and just buy garlic powder at the grocery store.

The other popular vegetables included in the graphics are broccoli, cabbage, butternut squash, avocado and onion.

Unfortunately, the onion technique still doesn't eliminate the crying.
