85-year-old model, Carmen Dell'Orefice, flawlessly closes couture show

Truth be told, the runway has never looked so good.

On Wednesday night, 85-year-old model Carmen Dell'Orefice closed the Guo Pei show in Paris, flawlessly proving that age is -- indeed -- just a number.

The longtime model was escorted by two male models, as she donned a deep red, beaded and lace ensemble by the designer who created Rihanna's 2015 Met Gala number (as Harper's Bazaar notes).

Dell'Orefice is famously referred to as the "oldest working model," first appearing on the pages of Vogue in 1946.

The model and actress' most recent strut down the runway has many hailing her queen -- and can you blame them? If we look half as good as she does at 85, we'll count our lucky stars.
