Meghan Markle gives Kate Middleton a 'dream diary' during first meeting

At this point, it's no secret that Prince Harry has introduced his American actress girlfriend, Meghan Markle, to his sister-in-law, Duchess Kate Middleton (rumor has it that Princess Charlotte was there, too).

Naturally, our first question was what both stylish women wore for the first meeting (did Middleton carry a clutch per usual?) -- but that still remains to be seen. We'll keep you posted as soon as we know, of course.

However, we do know what Markle, 35, brought Middleton as a belated birthday gift (though we assume she would've brought her a first-impression present regardless). According to The Sun, the "Suits" star gifted the Duchess "a very smart leather-bound 'dream diary' for her thoughts and ideas." Reports say that Kate "loved" it.

We have a funny feeling that these two are going to be friends.
