Video of brave cat sledding with owner ignites social media

Cats are known for being terrified and cautious -- but one proved that the term "scaredy cat" doesn't apply to him.

Professional photographer Jesse Smith uploaded a video of him sledding with his cat, Weston, last Friday. It has already amassed over 1.7 million views:

Smith asserts that the activity is safe -- and makes Weston happy. He also goes for rides with his other cat, Ellinore.

He told The Huffington Post, "My wife and I have taken both cats sledding once before, and they both were content as could be."

"Weston usually opts for the shoulder perch and does a great job of balancing up there," he continued. "Also, being that it is quite cold during all this snow play, we do make sure to take frequent trips back to the warm car."

Smith and his wife run both Facebook and Instagram pages for the adventurous cats.

Human, mush! Stop talking and get moving. I have business to do with that noisy bird over there. #cats #snow #tuxedo #tabby #westonandellinore @adventurecatsorg
