This floral wrap skirt is perfect for winter
I'm heading to NYC for a quick trip on Sunday and I've been so busy planning out all the places I want to try and squeeze in during my short time there
Of course there are several eateries I want to stop at (Happy Bones, The Bakeshop by Woops, Bluestone Lane, Ost Cafe, Black Star Bakery, among others!), although I don't think I have enough time (or stomach space) to go to all of them! I'm much more of an online shopper, but I'd still like to go to SoHo for the fun of it. The Topshop there is absolutely massive!
The last time I was in NYC was almost exactly three years ago. After I graduated university (my major was Speech Pathology and Audiology), I thought I wanted to pursue a career in fashion. I had been working at Nordstrom for quite some time at that point and found I really liked styling. Working at a magazine felt like the next step I wanted to take, so I took the train from DC to NYC and interviewed at Elle magazine and, despite everything going really well, I ultimately decided to take a leap of faith and move to San Francisco for my relationship. It was totally intimidating to go without a job, but I started working at Apple and I began my blog to get my fashion fill I've never regretted my decision for a single second!
