Unicorn macarons are the magical dessert we didn't know we needed

Macarons: They're not just a colorful meringue-pastry reserved for the French.

The cookies are airy, sweet and altogether quite delicious. If you've ever had a macaron, then you'd understand our love affair with the light but flavorful dessert.

Mac Lab, owned by a husband and wife team in Georgia, sells more than your average cookie. The cafe and bakery surprises customers each day with a unique and creative spin on the traditional sweet.

Our favorite? Their rainbow unicorn cookies:

Local customers can't get enough of these decorative treats.

Coated with fruity pebbles and adorned with sprinkles, this take on the pastry is quite magical.
