Homemade sriracha butter

DIY holiday gifts show just how much you care. After all, if you're willing to put your own time & effort into something it easily shows that person just how much they mean to you. #BrowniePoints So what if we told you there is a DIY gift out there that takes two minutes of your time to make, tastes freakin' incredible, & it's packaging doubles as gift wrap.

Ladies & gentleman, this year's DIY holiday gift that fits all that criteria & more is: Homemade Sriracha Butter! Simply mix the two ingredients together, throw into a jar, & voila! your gift is done. If you're feeling extra festive, tie a cute ribbon or notecard around the jar lid! Here's the exact step-by-step recipe:

Ingredients
1 tbsp Sriracha
2 sticks butter

Instructions

  1. In medium microwave safe mixing bowl, melt 1 stick of butter on high for 20 seconds. Watch it so it does not melt completely but softens a bit. Remove from microwave & add in sriracha. Stir to combine.
  2. Slice second stick of butter into 1 inch cubes & add to mixing bowl. Using electric mixer on low-medium speed, stir in second stick of butter. Stir until smooth & all ingredients are incorporated together. Scoop into jars. Enjoy!
