Nordstrom is selling a rock for $85
What do you buy for the person who has it all?
Well, Nordstrom would like you to buy this "Medium Leather Wrapped Stone" for $85 online.
The rock, which is not like the other rocks, is actually an art piece made by Peter Maxwell out of "smooth Los Angeles-area stone."
The stone comes with a leather pouch to protect it from the elements (except for the part that is exposed, which is like half of it.)
It's not quite a carrying case, though, so you will have to throw it in a purse or bag with other objects in order to make it portable.
Is the rock a paperweight, a conversation piece or something with a useful purpose? That's up to you. That's the magic of the $85 rock.
It can be anything you want it to be (as long as that thing bears in mind the properties of the rock itself.)
You're probably wondering why this viral gift is called "medium" -- there must be a small and a large, right?
Sorry, but only a a smaller version exists. If you're on a budget, you can get this one for only $65.
If you're interested in a larger rock size, those are not yet available yet. You can buy two smaller ones, though!
Oddly enough, the rock has received fairly decent reviews online. Though most of them are jokes (we can't seem to find a single serious one), the gift currently maintains a 4.4 out of 5 star rating.
