Try this fishnet + leather combination
Ok. Um. Did I miss something? Is it Thursday and DECEMBER 1?!?! Ok guys, that fact that the Christmas countdown is legit here, aka advent calendars!!, I'm 1) scared 2) excited and 3) frantic. I'm just a big ball of emotions and need to start shopping like yesterday! My Black Friday and Cyber Monday goodies started to roll-in yesterday – how about you? Anything good?
Today I'm wearing a look I sported back in LA a few weeks ago – this faux leather pencil skirt is killer with this mesh top! Perfect a a night out! Any time I travel to L.A. for work I have this desire to elevate my wardrobe to compete with the ever so fashionable residents of El Lay! On this particular day it was legit 95 degrees – I sweat through everything I brought and that God I as only there for 24 hours otherwise I wouldn't have had any clothes left. Thats real talk.
I headed to Melrose for a little bit of shopping (side note: the shopping is insane) and some boba tea. Boba isn't a thing in Chicago yet and I'm super said it's not. I'm still waiting for someone to open an Acai place in the West Loop! Hurry up Chicago! So I went to Alfred's Tea Room for some Rose Boba – I finished one while I was there and took another for the road.
I can't believe I've waited so long to try it. Have you had boba tea? This was BY FAR my most favorite look I packed for the trip. This faux leather pencil skirt from Ann Taylor was the best sale purchase of all time, and guess what, it's still on sale!!! Check out the skirt here. It's one of those items in your closet that will pretty much pair any which way! Style it with booties like these (ps I wear these just about every day!!) and a uniquely textured top. This mesh top from Worth New York is super sexy and classy all at the same time! It goes even better with a pair of Stan Smith's and a distressed denim jacket. Cant you see it now?
