Little girl gets emotional during wedding when stepdad asks to be her dad forever

In a heartwarming wedding day moment captured on video in Brazil, a little girl gets emotional as her step father asks her to be his daughter.

Diogo Balant, 37, told InsideEdition.com that it was a surprise for six-year-old Isadora, who he'd known since he started dating her mother, Nicole, three years earlier.

"My intention was to give her this special gift," Balant said.

In the video, Balant gets down on one knee and asks the little girl "Do you agree to be my daughter forever?" and through tears Isadora says "yes."

He then puts a little ring on her finger.

"Everyone was very emotional," said Balant.
