The internet is going crazy over this fur ball -- is it a dog or a cat?

The internet has a brand-new animal to crush on, but there's just one problem: nobody can quite identify what it is.

The furry fella's name is Atchoum, and he has everyone questioning what kind of animal he is.

Atchoum is a Persian kitten from Quebec, Canada. He has a very rare congenital condition known as the werewolf syndrome. This leads people to wonder whether he's a dog, a cat or even maybe an owl!

Have no fear, his condition is not as scary as it sounds. It's simply a hormonal condition that causes hair and claws to grow fast, which is why Atchoum had to get them removed for safety.

Atchoum even has his own website where he shares thoughts and hobbies. He even uses it to discuss his love-hate relationship with his frenemy.

The celebrity cat has a remarkable resemblance an Ewok, the Grinch, the Lorax and even Einstein.

Atchoum has been a source of inspiration for many artists, who have immortalized his peculiar look in paintings.

He even has a book with Canadian celebrity cat Oreo! However, Oreo's story is for another day ...
