This haunted house is scaring visitors with something extra frightening: American politics.

'Doomocracy' is a three-story exhibit in Brooklyn, playing on fears more realistic than ghosts and zombies.

Visitors explore rooms dealing with gun violence, drug addiction and climate change.

Doomocracy arrives just in time for both Halloween and election season.

The exhibit starts with the Statue of Liberty as a Trojan Horse, representing the normalization of war in the name of freedom.

Short skits involving actors and audience members make for an intense theatrical experience.

Another room is a funeral parlor with a coffin in the shape of Twinkie, to satirize the food industry.

The creator is artist Pedro Reyes, who says to expect a surprise at the end that involved Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump.
