As part of its annual "Best Places to Live" report, MONEY ranked America's healthiest small cities based on a range of factors.
Access to medical care, obesity and disease rates, activity levels and anecdotal evidence were taken into account.
It's no surprise that if you want to live a healthier lifestyle, head to the mountains.

Healthiest Places to Live in America:
1. Highlands Ranch, Colorado
Just 15 miles south of Denver, this town has the lowest obesity rate in the country. It also has low disease rates, and high rates of physically active residents.
2. Koolaupoko, Hawaii
It holds the record for the fewest cancer deaths in America. The warm breeze and swaying palm trees can’t hurt!
3. Greenwich, Connecticut
You’re in luck if you have an emergency thanks to the high number of hospitals within a 15-mile radius.
4. Woodbury, Minnesota
Residents have the lowest rate of heart disease in the country.
5. Quincy, Massachusetts
This Boston suburb has the fewest diabetes-related deaths nationwide.
9. San Rafael, California
10. St. Augustine, Florida
