The best accessory for any fall outfit

It's final, summer is officially over. The beach chairs have been folded, pools covered and back to school schedules pencilled in. It would be sad but in all fairness, there is too much of fall to look forward to! One of the best parts of this colorful season is the chance to bring about a whole new wardrobe.

Fall sweaters, boots, and jackets to name a few! Of course the best accessory for this coming season is the simplest yet most dignified thing you could add to your look. A scarf! A scarf is all you need to top off a beautiful fall look. Whether it's the beginning of the season or the end, it is a style that will always do your outfit right.

Take a look through the slideshow for some fall inspiration from the Lifestyle Collective bloggers and whip out those scarves!

Scarves in the fall
"This subtle floral print silk scarf is my first scarf purchase of the year and I’m in love! I usually go for either chunky, cozy scarves or gauzy, breezy ones, but decided to try out one of the skinny silk scarves that have been so popular lately." - Seamless Sea
"I’ve been super into scarves lately, but I can’t get myself to spend more than $50 on a single one. Well, great news ladies, this plaid scarf is only $11! It’s from Forever21 and is surprisingly super soft and good quality!" - Just a Tina Bit
"I love playing with the textures that a scarf adds, a great way to add dimension to our look. The neat thing about scarves is they can be tied in multiple ways. Both for guys and gals, we can change up our look entirely, just by simply adding a scarf for a twist." - Velvet and Vino
"I love blanket scarves for the simple reason that they are as practical as their being stylish. When as many layers as possible is a welcome way of dressing up ( hello Boston winters!), having an accessory that lends warmth and can be styled multiple ways, is a winner in my accessories closet." - Love Playing Dress Up
"These additional pieces can seriously make all the difference in your outfit, transforming it from basic to edgy (or even making it seasonally appropriate) in an instant. To winterize my outfit, I decided to add a scarf with rich tones and texture as well as a leather hat." - Advice From a Twenty Something
