East Coast prep meets West Coast bohemian in Tory Burch's Spring/Summer 2017 collection. Colorful prints took center stage, as usual, but this season color, pattern and design fused together in a 'Pocahontas meets Blair Waldorf' kind of way.
"I was inspired definitely by my childhood," Burch said when we chatted with her after the show. "Sort of East Coast meets West Coast, and that kind of quintessential American style, and of course, pink and green! But I wanted to do a different take on it."
Never one to let a single detail go unnoticed, Burch's spring collection featured eye-catching accessories, like this ADORABLE pocketbook below.
"I wanted to sort of make that preppy a little bit cooler," the designer said, and we think this bag absolutely does that.
It's also no secret that Tory Burch has a major celebrity following, and Jessica Alba was just one of the famous fashionistas who showed up to support the designer Tuesday morning at the Whitney Museum.
