Carolina Herrera keeps it simple -- in the most stunning way possible

Carolina Herrera's Spring 2017 collection is flawlessly simple -- but does that really come as a surprise to anyone?

The collection's color palette consists predominantly of only black, white and denim blue (okay, there's a little bit of metallic in there, too) -- and as you peruse the pieces, you find yourself craving nothing more.

However, if you think the designer's body of work -- unveiled at The Frick Collection in NYC Monday morning -- lacked variety, think again.

Stripes? They're there. Sheer lace? Yup, that too. Tulle? You got it. Bridal-like gowns? Of course.

Herrera doesn't only want to dress you for an elegant evening at the ball, though. The collection boasts business-like sophistication in spades.
