Body-positive activist breaks Guinness World Record
Looking different is not always easy, but one woman is proving you can still love yourself -- and break a Guinness World Record for doing so.
Bearded woman, Harnaam Kaur, has become the youngest woman to grow a full beard. She began to develop facial hair when she was 11-years-old, and was mercilessly bullied by her classmates.

Kaur, who was diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome, tried everything to get rid of her facial hair: bleaching, shaving and waxing. None of it worked. "The more I attempted to remove the hair, the more it grew, and the relentless bullying got even worse," she wrote in Stylist earlier this year.

When she was 16, however, Kaur said it was time to stop fighting the way she looked and start embracing it. Now 25-years-old, she is a full-time body-positive and anti-bullying activist. "It's not easy being different, but it is possible and you can still achieve your dreams," she said in Stylist. "I'm proof of that."
Kaur took to Twitter to celebrate the recognition:
A huge Thank you to @gwr_es for my record!! ❤️❤️ This is a great accomplishment for me! ❤️❤️🌺🌺 pic.twitter.com/PutRUMvcBy
