Pasquale "Pat" Brocco has been called "Fat Pat" his entire life.

He decided to change that. He changed his nickname to "Possible Pat," and dropped 300 pounds in the most inspiring way.

Three years ago, Brocco topped 600 pounds, and his doctor warned him that his habits were unhealthy, according to ABC News.

He snapped a photo of himself and made a huge change in his life.

He decided that every time he was hungry, he would walk to the closest Wal-Mart near his home.

It's one mile away, so a walk back made the total trip there and back two miles. Eventually, he was doing it three times for a total of six miles every day.

"It's amazing because I never walked six miles in my life, and I was doing it every day," he told ABC News.

He also altered his diet by cutting junk food and dairy.

In two years, he lost 200 pounds, and that's when he started going to the gym.

He's now 325 pounds lighter and an inspiration to us all.
