Mailman's kind gesture for letter-loving pup goes viral

Martin Studer is a mailman for the Australia Post in Brisbane.

And while most dogs and mailmen are sworn enemies, Studer has a plethora of 4-legged friends he visits frequently on his route.

But no matter how many pups he may meet at work, it's abundantly clear that Pippa, a beautiful Golden Retriever, is his favorite.

In fact, the two share such a special bond that one day when Studer didn't have any mail to deliver to Pippa's humans, he wrote Pippa a letter of her own because he didn't want to disappoint her.

"Sometimes, Pippa comes out for the daily delivery but there's no mail for her to collect," he wrote in a Facebook post. "So I have to improvise."

If that isn't true friendship, we don't know what is.
