Target is one of those stores that I think just about everyone loves. For one reason or another -- whether it's their inexpensive-yet-stylish furniture, the clothing, or that you can do all your shopping in one go (groceries? A movie? School supplies? Check!) -- seriously, it's a true gem.

Another thing to love? They innovate, and they care.

You already know in-house grocery brand Archer Farms, but the latest development "brewing" is a pretty incredible one. See what we did there?

As of August 7th, Archer Farms has a totally new assortment of coffee offerings to choose from. Why is this groundbreaking? Whether you're a coffee connoisseur and want to be able to select your coffee from different regions, or you're a flavor lover who wants to spice it up with an Apple Cider Donut blend, they now have it all.

There's even a cold brew!! And it's so good (we tried it.)

But here's why it's so cool: It's not just that we have so many more java options -- but Target, knowing its reach and massive selling power, decided to make its production process better in three major ways.

%shareLinks-quote="We know that our guests are paying more attention to where their food and products come from and the impact they have on the environment. As we evaluated the Archer Farms coffee assortment last year, we thought it could be even better, so we decided to overhaul the assortment from farm to cup." type="quote" author="Amanda Irish" authordesc="VP, Owned Brands" isquoteoftheday="false"%

  1. They've gone from four to 32 fair or direct trade options -- directly connected to and working with the farms.

  2. They've redesigned their single-serve coffee pods so that they're way less wasteful -- diverting 95% of the waste of a typical cup from landfills.

  3. They're focused on flavor -- improving their bean quality.

Pretty cool right?
