What do a group of men sitting around in their underwear have in common with new mothers?

Well, nothing, but the Bond underwear brand is using its marketing budget to make a statement about the double standard against women and the dad bod.

No woman needs to be criticized about her body, but this is especially true after giving birth.

After all, that body brought a human being into this world! No matter its condition, it should be praised.

In the commercial, the men even compare themselves to a dad with a perfect body.

This is similar to women who might be tempted to compare their body with someone like Kim Kardashian, who posted shots just a few weeks post-partum looking like she never gave birth at all.

The commercial ends with a close-up shot of the undies, and it's obvious they're aiming to objectify men the way we objectify women.

However, we can't forget that Leonardo DiCaprio made the dad bod into a good thing.

Nothing is ever fair.
