Koala breaks into house, tries to climb dance pole

When a woman in Australia came home one day, she found something you'd least expect -- and captured it all on video.

"One day I came home from work ready to dance the shitty day away when I came home to this beautiful creature who turned my whole day around!!," Nikki Erickson wrote in a Facebook post with the video.

The adorable furry creature stares right into camera with its perfectly round ears. It looks around for a bit and then scrambles to try and climb the pole -- ultimately sliding back down. Despite all its best efforts, the poor koala still ends up on the ground.

In the video Erickson can be heard saying, "It's ok bubby, it's a slippery one isn't it. I had the same problem!"

She called a koala conservation nearby, which rescued the little bear, and according to her Facebook post even it made onto the staff Christmas card!
