Woman documents her dog's tragic response to eating vegan sausage

When you're a dog parent, you'll do anything to protect your baby. You feed it the best foods and make sure it has everything in life.

But sometimes, you can't shield them from the outside world. Dogs are animals, so they do things like run away from you and eat things they are not supposed to.

One Imgur user, icanrelateanythingtolordoftherings, took to the internet to complain about the latter.

Her dog got into something it usually doesn't eat -- vegan food.

"HELP!!! I came home to find that my dog had eaten a whole package of vegan soy sausages! I don't know if it's gonna make her sick or not," she posted.

She documented the dog's hilarious reactions to the food.

It seems like the only bad thing that happened to the dog was a pretentious change in style.

The user posted that at this point, the dog is asking for a record player.

After picking up a Hemingway book, the user posted that her dog had started researching politicians, and he is now a fully-evolved Bernie bro.

The dog is expected to make a full recovery, but the jury is still out on whether or not he vapes.
