Kids will be kids, and this specific pair of brothers really knows how to ace the childish antics.

Geraint Goodridge thought he could trust his sons when they said it was "Fancy Dress Day" at school.

Though the name of the spirit-filled fake holiday needed some work, 6-year-old Harrison and 5-year-old Reuben got away with it.

The boys dressed as a Transformer and as Woody from "Toy Story."

Goodridge told The Huffington Post that the boys had an elaborate ruse.

They said it was a non-uniform day because they were having a party in honor of the Queen's birthday.

The boys were thrilled to find themselves in the local newspaper thanks to their silly prank.

When The Huffinton Post asked if Goodridge was planning a ruse in retaliation, he just laughed.

"No, they'd probably have one better so I think I better just call it a day on that," he said.
