7 tips for layering like a pro this winter
It's cold outside which means we have to layer up. But what that doesn't mean is losing our sense of style. So, here are a few tips on how to layer up like a pro so you can totally own those cold streets.
Try wearing one under your jacket. We like leaving the cardigan open but if it's really frigid, add a scarf.
If it's like Antartica out there, then don't be afraid to layer your jackets. You an always take one of them off if you start getting warm.
Let's be serious, in the fall and winter you can add a scarf to literally any outfit. Not only are they cozy, but they can give your outfit that pop it needs in the bleak weather.
Also a key layering piece, vests are the perfect topper for days that aren't as cold, because you can easily slip them under your jacket for an extra layer of warmth.
One of the warmest options, we love turtlenecks for layering. They look SO chic under dresses and oversized sweaters.
Now, when it comes to footwear, leather leggings are really warm. But, you can also get the same effect when wearing your knee high boots as leggings.
For fall it really is all about socks. Long gone are the days of showing off your cute pedicure, but you can still rock your favorite pair of heels or oxfords as long as you add a pair of ankle socks.
