Get rid of bags under your eyes with these great home remedies

From split ends, to dark spots, we know there are so many beauty issues to be faced daily. The thing is however, none quite amount to the annoyance that under-eye bags bring into our lives. We apply creams, get facials and use the old "cucumber on the eye" trick -- but for some reason, nothing works! The bags are still there, dark and heavy as ever. So, what's a girl to do?

Now, keep in mind, everyone's skin is different and there's no promising your eyes will suddenly look brighter and less puffy overnight, but you'll more than likely notice a change after a good amount of use and honestly, what have you got to lose? 1. Raw potato slices

  • Place a slice of raw potato on your eyes

  • Leave it for 15-20 mins and you'll notice the size of the bags under eye will reduce

2. Chilled milk

  • Dip cotton pads in chilled milk and place on your eyelids

  • relax for 20-30 minutes -- this will help your eyes in water retention and cool them off

3. Vitamin E Oil

  • Take chilled water in a bowl and add a few drops of vitamin E oil to it then mix

  • Dip cotton pads in this mixture and place on the eyes for 20 minutes to help in reducing the swelling around the eyes

4. Iced water

  • Chill spoons in water and then place one over each eye

  • Keep switching the spoons while letting the other one chill in the glass of water

  • Keep switching until you see improvement

5. Egg whites

  • Whip up 1 or 2 egg whites until stiff

  • Apply with a brush or soft cloth underneath your eyes -- skin will feel tighter and look less like puff pastry
