The Karlie Kloss x Warby Parker collection is here
Karlie Kloss is at it again. Somehow, between her booming modeling career, designing a range for Frame Denim, turning her love for baking into a philanthropic venture with Momofuku Milk Bar and taking business classes at Harvard (phew!), she found the time to team up with Warby Parker on a line of sunglasses for summer.
After weeks of teasing on social media and a preview in the May issue of Vogue, the collection has finally hit stores and the Warby Parker site. The model created three exclusive frames in graceful, retro-inspired shapes, constructed in lightweight Japanese titanium.
The sunnies retail for $145 a pair, and in true Kloss (and Warby Parker) fashion, there is a charitable aspect to the line: A portion of the proceeds will benefit a cause close to Kloss, Edible Schoolyard NYC, which partners with low-income public schools to build gardens to grow healthy foods and to help educate students about healthy eating habits.
